How can we help?

Answers to the questions we hear most. Can't find what you need? Text, call, or email us.

Orders & Shipping

What's your typical turnaround time?

Most products ship in 3–5 business days from proof approval. Business cards, yard signs, and most banners are ready in 1–2 business days if rush ordered. We also offer same-day production for local pickup if you order before 2pm MST.

Vehicle wraps and custom jobs vary — a full wrap typically takes 3–5 days of shop time once materials arrive.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes. We ship to all 50 states via UPS and FedEx. Free shipping on orders over $75. For large or oversized items, we'll quote freight separately and you'll approve before we charge.

Can I pick up my order locally?

Absolutely. Select "Local pickup" at checkout and we'll email you when it's ready. Our shop is in Chandler, AZ. Pickup is free and usually same-day for orders placed before 2pm.

How do I track my order?

You'll get SMS and email updates at every stage — proof ready, in production, shipped, delivered. You can also log into your account to see live status on any active order.

What if something arrives damaged or wrong?

We'll reprint it free. Email a photo of the issue to hello@controlp.io within 7 days of delivery and we'll put a replacement into production same-day. Our 100% print guarantee has no fine print.

File preparation

What file formats do you accept?

We accept PDF, AI, EPS, PSD, PNG, and JPG. PDF with embedded fonts and outlined text is the gold standard. If you send a PSD or AI file, make sure all fonts are outlined and all images are embedded (not linked).

What resolution should my artwork be?

For business cards and small prints: 300 DPI at actual size. For banners and large format: 150 DPI at actual size is fine. For very large prints viewed from distance (billboards, vehicle wraps), 100 DPI is acceptable.

If you're not sure, upload what you have and we'll tell you if anything looks off.

Do I need to add bleed to my files?

Yes — 0.125" (1/8 inch) bleed for business cards and flyers, 0.25" for most other products, 0.5" for banners. Download our templates for each product to make sure your bleed and safe zones are set correctly.

CMYK or RGB?

Always CMYK for print. If you send an RGB file, we'll convert it, but colors can shift — especially bright blues and greens. If color accuracy matters, send CMYK and include a Pantone or exact color reference in your order notes.

Products & materials

What's the difference between 13oz, 15oz, and 18oz vinyl?

13oz is our standard scrim vinyl — perfect for most indoor and outdoor banners. 15oz is heavier and more tear-resistant, great for windy outdoor locations or long-term installations. 18oz blockout has a black layer in the middle so light won't bleed through — ideal for double-sided banners.

Are your materials outdoor-safe?

Yes. All our print inks are UV-stable and our outdoor materials are rated for up to 2 years outdoor exposure (banners) or 5+ years (vehicle wraps with premium vinyl). Arizona sun is rough — we've tested everything locally.

Can I request a physical sample before ordering?

Yes — email hello@controlp.io and we'll send a sample pack with material swatches for the products you're considering. Free for most requests.

Vehicle wraps

How long does a vehicle wrap take?

Full wraps typically take 3–5 business days in the shop. Partial wraps and decals are usually 1–2 days. We schedule a drop-off appointment and give you a loaner vehicle option if needed.

Can you wrap a Tesla?

Yes, Tesla wraps are our specialty. We've wrapped over 180 Teslas across all current models — Model S, 3, Y, X, and Cybertruck. We use 3M and Avery Dennison premium vinyls that are safe for Tesla's paint and remove cleanly when it's time.

Will a wrap damage my paint?

No — if anything, it protects it. Quality vinyl (3M, Avery) removes cleanly within its warranty period. Paint damage typically only happens if low-grade vinyl is left on too long or if your paint was already failing before wrapping.

Billing

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and ACH transfer. For recurring business clients we also offer Net 15 and Net 30 terms after the first two jobs.

Do you charge tax?

We charge Arizona sales tax on orders shipping to Arizona. Out-of-state orders are not taxed. If you have a resale certificate, upload it to your account and we'll exempt future orders automatically.
